Eclipse IV – 2001

In 2001, the Eclipse IV team was born with the fervent ambition to promote solar energy and educate people about protecting the environment

The team is participating at the 2003 American Solar Challenge, which consists of a race of more than 3,600 km between Chicago and Los Angeles.

The team is also undertaking a CEGEP tour to promote the development and applications of solar energy and to meet the media. This adventure also allows the team to raise funds to participate in the next competition in July 2003: the World Solar Challenge, which takes place in Australia.

    • 6th place in qualifying and 20th in cumulative time at ASC 2003
